Violin Class

(5 - 9 y.o.)

Singing, is a form of musical expression helps children to develop self-confidence. Having voice instruction at an early age encourages children healthy vocal use in singing and speech. Proper posture, breathing technique, ear training, vocal exercises and basic music theory are introduced in the class. Children will have the fun listening to each other and singing age appropriated song such as repertoires from the Sound of Music, Mary Poppins and works by Rogers and Hammerstein. There will be a class presentation at the end of the session and parents are invited to attend.

Fridays 4:45-5:30p.m.

Tuition: $375 including materials, class starts January 31

The curriculum is to help beginners of all ages to explore and learn piano in a group setting. Students will learn the fundamental music and piano knowledge such as note reading, rhythms, dynamics, tempo, aural skills and proper posture through activities, games and various interactive materials. Students are expected to follow the instruction and practice daily. Towards the end of each session the students will be given assessment to measure and reinforce the comprehension of the materials addressed in class. Student performances at the end and a certificate with a report of the student's overall performance will confirm every successful completed session.  Keyboard can be rented at EKS Music School during the session.

Three classes are offered this semester:

Mondays: 5:45-6:30p.m. (Age 5-7), class starts January 29

Tuesdays (Age 5-7), class starts January 30

Wednesdays (Age 7-11), class starts January 31

Piano Group Class

(5 -11 y.o.)

Music is a fun and necessary part of a child's development!  Through movement, song, poetry, rhythm, story-telling, and imagination, the Young Mozart's Preschool Music Class, increases communication, confidence, parent-child bonding, and creativity in each child.  Through play, the children develop musical skills that help them become independent and competent musicians that can carry them into learning an instrument or continuing to sing later in life.  Each class is 45 minutes in length and is designed for parents and children alike, to share in this enriching experience together.

Wednesdays 3:30-4:15p.m.

2017-18 Spring Group Class (17-week Program)​​

Starting January 29, 2018

This class provides a group atmosphere for the students to learn from each other from the beginning. Throughout the well-planed 17-week curriculum, students are knotted to develop proper care and maintenance of their instruments and bows, great sound production, different bowing techniques and strokes, aural skills and music theory, discipline and efficient practicing tools. Meanwhile, creativity and musical interpretation are also encouraged to calculated. Certificates and performances at the end of each session are guaranteed to move forward to the next level. Student will need their own violin for class. Violin rental can be arranged at the school.
