Raley Beggs, Lead Faculty (Classical Guitar)

After earning his Bachelor's at Florida State University under profound pedagogue Bruce Holzman and a Master's from New Conservatory with esteemed artist and performer Eliot Fisk, classical guitarist Raley Beggs has found a suitable podium for which to share and enrich the rich traditions of his instrument. Raley performs widely throughout the Greater Boston Area as a soloist and chamber musician, with a special focus on community engagement established during his two year fellowship with the Community Performances and Partnerships Program. In addition to being a performer Raley served as a New England Conservatory Student Senator, a staff writer for conservatory newspaper, The Penguin, and enjoys running unreasonably long distances.

Jonas Kublickas, Faculty (Classical Guitar)

Jonas began his music studies on classical guitar at the age of 11 and first picked up a renaissance
lute in Salzburg at the age 19. He says "It was the magic of plucking and strumming that got me
hooked!"
Jonas has graduated with a a Master's of Music degree at New England Conservatory in Boston, where
his teachers have included Eliot Fisk (Guitar performance) and Hankus Netsky (Contemporary
Improvisation). Additionally he has been awarded with scholarship from Lute Society of America
(LSA) and coached by Douglas Freundlich (Professor for Lute at Longy School of Music, Boston,
USA), Hopkinson Smith (Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, Basel, Switzerland). He holds a Bachelor's
degree in guitar and lute performance from Europe's famous "Mozarteum" university (Salzburg,
Austria).
Native of Vilnius, Lithuania, Jonas won The Baltic States Guitar competition and has performed in 
memoriam of John Paul II festival „Millenium in Music“, touring in Germany and Austria with 
the help of “Jugend Musiziert” and “Live Music Now – Yehudi Menuhin” organisations. Just
recently he led a seminar and masterclass in Seoul National University on improvisation in music.
